Volador Energy is a pre-revenue, late-prototype / early-commercial stage deep-tech startup. Our core technology is validated, we hold UK patents, and we have received endorsement from Innovate UK, SETsquared, and global corporate venturing bodies. We are entering commercial pilot discussions with strategic customers.
We hold UK patents covering our dielectric liquid immersion cooling architecture, modular hot-swap cell design, and integrated BMS innovations. Additional patent filings are in progress across key markets. IP is owned outright by Volador Energy Limited.
Most BESS systems are monolithic, difficult to repair, and thermally managed with water or air — limiting safety and lifespan. Volador's dielectric liquid immersion cooling acts as both coolant and fire retardant, our hot-swap modular design eliminates downtime when replacing cells, and our systems can be upgraded without full replacement, dramatically improving total cost of ownership.
Primary markets include commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage, EV fast-charging infrastructure, off-grid and remote power (including defence and disaster relief), and grid-scale storage. Secondary markets include maritime, aerospace ground support, and data centres.
Indicative allocation: ~40% manufacturing & supply chain to establish initial production partnerships; ~30% commercial & sales to build a direct sales team and close pilot customers; ~20% R&D for next-generation cell chemistry integration; ~10% operations & IP including international patent filings.
