Aggregated, anonymised usage data (pages viewed, referrer, device type, country) collected via Plausible Analytics if you accept analytics cookies. Plausible does not set any cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individuals across sites.

Technical data

IP address and browser type, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes. This data is retained for a maximum of 30 days.

We do not collect sensitive personal data (special category data), nor do we knowingly collect data from children under 16.

  • Formspree (form.io): Processes and forwards contact form submissions to us by email. Data is stored in the EU/UK.
  • Plausible Analytics: Cookieless, GDPR-compliant analytics hosted in the EU. No personal data is processed.
  • Google (Maps embed): The Google Maps embed on our Contact page may involve data transfers to Google. Please see their privacy policy at policies.google.com.
  • Calendly: If you book a call, Calendly will process your name, email, and calendar availability. See Calendly's privacy policy at calendly.com/pages/privacy.
  • Professional advisers: Lawyers, accountants, and auditors may access data under strict confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal authorities: Where required by law or to protect Volador Energy's legal rights.

6. International Transfers

Some of our third-party providers are based outside the UK/EEA. Where we transfer data internationally we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision. Plausible Analytics is hosted in the EU and does not transfer data outside the EU/EEA.

  • Contact form submissions and email correspondence — up to 3 years from last contact, unless a business relationship requires longer retention.
  • Investor and partnership records — up to 7 years in line with statutory accounting requirements.
  • Server/security logs — up to 30 days.
  • Analytics data (Plausible) — retained in aggregated, anonymised form indefinitely; no individual records.
